Memory Quilts by Brooke

Frequently asked questions

Can I use jerseys or sweatshirts?
Yes — t-shirts, jerseys, and sweatshirts all work. Worn or stretchy fabric is stabilized so it can be used in your quilt.
Can you use both the front and back of a shirt?
Yes. If a shirt has a design on the front and the back, both can be used as separate blocks — just let Brooke know in your reservation notes.
How is pricing calculated?
T-shirt quilts are priced per shirt: $20 per shirt with a single frame, or $23 per shirt with a double frame. Memory quilts (made from a loved one's clothing or baby clothes) are priced by finished bed size — pricing details on the reservation page. Optional fabric hearts are $3 each.
How does shipping work?
You ship your items to Brooke at your own cost. Return shipping is a flat $25, paid with your final balance. Optional shipping insurance is available at 10% of the quilt price at the time of final payment.
How do I wash my quilt?
Gentle, cold-water wash and tumble dry on low. Wash sparingly and avoid bleach so your quilt lasts for decades.
What if I don't send enough material?
For memory quilts, any gaps are filled with a coordinating fabric so the finished quilt still looks intentional and beautiful.
What happens to leftover shirts?
If you send more shirts than the quilt needs, you can pay $40 to have the extras shipped back. Otherwise they're discarded along with scraps and leftovers.
